How Vesta handles intimate profile data
Privacy is part of the product, not a disclaimer tucked out of sight. Vesta should make it clear what data is collected, why it is used, and how people can ask for help.
Information we collect
Vesta collects the account details you provide directly, such as your name, email address, profile preferences, and the birth information you choose to enter during onboarding.
We may also collect technical information needed to operate the service, including device, browser, log, and security data that helps protect accounts and troubleshoot platform issues.
- Account basics such as name, email, and sign-in credentials
- Profile information, dating intent, and onboarding responses
- Birth date, birth time, and birthplace when you provide them
- Operational and security logs used to keep the service running
How Vesta uses information
We use the information you provide to create and maintain your account, generate chart-based compatibility context, personalize the product experience, and respond to support requests.
Some information is also used for security, fraud prevention, product diagnostics, and service improvement so the platform stays reliable and safe.
Birth data and compatibility logic
Birth details are central to how Vesta works, so they are handled with more care than ordinary profile prompts. They are used to generate natal chart context, compatibility signals, and explanations inside the product.
If you do not know your birth time, Vesta can still function, but any compatibility system that relies on missing or approximate data may be less precise.
Sharing and service providers
Vesta does not treat intimate profile data as something to distribute casually. Information may be shared with vendors or infrastructure providers only when needed to host, secure, support, or operate the service.
If the platform introduces additional integrations or partner relationships later, the expectation should remain the same: only share what is necessary for the product to work.
Your choices and rights
You can contact support if you need help updating account information, correcting birth data, or asking how your information is being used. Privacy-related questions should be routed through support so they can be handled directly.
If you want your account removed, use our account deletion request page. It explains how to make the request, the Vesta data that is deleted, and the limited data that may be retained.
Security and retention
Vesta uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect account information and reduce unnecessary access to sensitive data. No internet service can promise absolute security, but the product should be built to treat this information seriously.
Information is retained for as long as it is needed to provide the service, protect the platform, resolve disputes, or satisfy legitimate legal and operational obligations.
